Abstract
The chapter presents a way to teach social work students, who are one year away from graduation. It reviews the process and constitution of current historical, ethical-judicial, and political dimensions of human rights both nationally and internationally. The course emerges from the need to ensure that students can identify and analyse factors that affect the massive perpetration of human rights and apply international and national mechanisms that guarantee the promotion of human rights. In the first section of this chapter, the Chilean context is presented, and in the second section, the objectives and contents of the course-programme are discussed.
