Supernova 2011gb = Psn J01334294+3448371

Abstract
Report the discovery of an apparent supernova in unfiltered Catalina Sky Survey (CSS) images: SN 2011 UT R.A. (2000.0) Decl. Mag. Offset 2011gb Sep. 24.30 1 33 42.94 +34 48 37.1 16.1 4".5 W, 1".1 S The new object was designated PSN J01334294+3448371 when it was posted at the Central Bureau's TOCP webpage and is here designated SN 2011gb based on the spectroscopic report below. Pastorello, Dipartimento di Astronomia, Universita di Padova, on behalf of a larger collaboration, report that a spectrogram of PSN J01334294+3448371 = SN 2011gb, obtained on Sept. 25.06 UT, suggests that it is a type-Ia supernova observed a few weeks after B-band maximum at a redshift z = 0.014....
