Abstract
El artículo analiza la descripción ofrecida por Omnem del segundo y tercer año de la carrera de derecho luego de la reforma de Justiniano, y en particular el problema de la secuencia en que debían enseñarse las partes de iudiciis y de rebus. Se revisan de forma crítica las posturas tradicionales en la materia, demostrando que muy probablemente se estudiaban títulos de ambas partes en ambos años. En particular, la descripción del antiguo currículo jurídico y la secuencia de títulos del Codex Iustinianus ofrecen valiosas pistas, las cuales contribuyen a su vez a esclarecer problemas de educación y sistematización del derecho en tiempos de Justiniano. // This article analyses the description offered by Omnem of the second and third years of law school after Justinian’s reform, and specifically the issue of the sequence in which de iudiciis y de rebus were taught. The traditional views are critically revised, showing that, most likely, titles from both parts were taught each year. In particular, the description of the old legal curriculum and the sequence of titles of the Codex Iustinianus offer valuable clues, which contribute in turn to shed light on problems of legal education and systematization at the time of Justinian.
