Root nodulesTalguenea quinquenervia Gill et Hook (Rhamnaceae) are restricted to the middle region of the root cortex. The root endophyte possesses hyphae which are septate and vesicles. The vesicles are spherical and are continuous with that of the hyphae. The endophyte fine structure is similar to otherFrankia-induced root nodules.
