TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND ITS EFFECT ON TEACHING MANAGEMENT: THE CASE OF A SCHOOL IN NORTHERN CHILE

Abstract
In order to achieve success, organizations require the combination of a number of conditions and elements of a strategic character; one of these components certainly is leadership. The purpose of this study is to determine a teacher profile and the positive impact of transformational leadership in teaching management of a private educational organization located in the city of Antofagasta, Chile. The research design is defined as a correlational quantitative study. The combined analyses reveal that the issue of leadership allows to identify a necessary fact that encourages teaching management. The results suggest that is important to have a functional instrument about the strategies, in order to align the organization with the level of dimensions associated to the application of the instrument and its possible use in other educative organizations.
