Abstract
It is known that Jorge Luis Borges, in his wide narrative work, addressed topics related to different beliefs and religions. This essay aims to deepen the story "El evangelio segun Marcos" and its connections with Calvinist theology, originated from the Protestant Reformation. Through a review of the main features of this theology, we will offer an outline that allows us to show Calvinism as an interpretation key of the story.
