Abstract
This retrospective study analyzes invasive fungal disease (IFD) caused by *Aspergillus* in hospitalized adults at a Chilean center from 2005 to 2015. A total of 67 cases were identified, with an incidence of 2.53 per 10,000 discharges. The majority of cases were caused by *A. fumigatus* (42%), and most patients were male (55%) with a mean age of 51 years. Hematological conditions were present in 57% of patients, and 37% had neutropenia. Pulmonary involvement was the most common clinical presentation (73%). The mortality rate at 30 days was 39%. The findings align with global trends in vulnerable populations, highlighting the need for further epidemiological data to better understand *Aspergillus* infections in Chile.
